Canine creatures possess remarkable talents and occasionally employ them to their benefit. An instance of such a scenario is that of a stray dog in the city of St. Louis, which required assistance.

A pitbull approached a man as he got off a bus and eagerly accepted scratches behind his ears. To the man’s surprise, the dog followed him all the way home. Upon noticing the pitbull’s dirty, skinny, and scar-covered appearance, the man called Stray Rescue of St. Louis for help. The rescue organization named the pitbull Orville, and one of their officers, Donna Lochmann, shared on Facebook how the dog had willingly followed the man home, allowing them to rescue him. While it is common for pit bulls to roam the streets in St. Louis, many of them are afraid of being leashed. However, Orville was different. He appeared to be eager to be rescued and given a new home.
Donna took to Facebook to share their heartwarming experience of rescuing a skinny and smelly pup with dog bites around his mouth. Despite his rough appearance, the dog immediately trusted them and even jumped into their laps and car. Upon reaching the clinic, he climbed up into Molly’s lap and they were more than happy to provide him with all the necessary care. This adorable three-year-old pup is as sweet as a cookie and they are optimistic about finding the perfect forever home for him in the future.
